Risk Assessment
Assessing Risk & Management
Temporary collapsible Expanda Boxes can be a vital resource for providing shelter to those affected by natural disasters, such as major flood zones and fire affected areas. However, delivering our Expanda Boxes to disaster-stricken locations comes with a unique set of risks and challenges that must be carefully assessed and managed to ensure a safe and successful operation.
Provisions
The provision of essential services such as water and power supply can be a challenge in remote locations and post disaster. The Expanda Boxes may also require additional insulation to make them suitable for use in extreme temperatures. Bathroom and toilet facilities can be added with consideration to water supply and waste management if required.
Transportation and logistics companies, along with their subcontractors, may face delivery risks caused by unforeseen natural disaster zones.
Risk assessment and management are critical components in planning for the delivery of mobile Expanda Boxes to disaster areas.
Financial Risks
We know from experience that without a high level of preparedness, people can quickly become overwhelmed in the aftermath of a major event leading to community dissatisfaction and dislocation.
Financial preparedness is key to RRH being able to stockpile Expanda Boxes ready for deployment immediately after an event once it is safe to enter the disaster zone.
Legal and Compliance Risks
Our collapsible Expanda Boxes are temporary structures and local government laws can differ between jurisdictions. In the case of emergencies and disasters short term allowances have been made in past scenarios to provide support relief.
