Unit measures 2.5m (W) x 2.6m (H) x 5.8m (L) when assembled, but can be flat-packed to just 0.5m in height for efficient transport. Weighing 1100kg, these boxes are made from durable materials including galvanised steel and fireproof rock wool, offering insulation and weather resistance. Includes doors, windows, secure entryways, and meets Australian Standards with integrated safety switches, power outlets & LED lighting. Up to 12 units can be transported on a standard crane truck.

The size of the each Expanda Box when erected measures 2.5 meters in width, 2.6 meters in height, and 5.8 meters in length. However, when flat packed, it measures only 2.5 meters in width, 0.36 meters in height, and 5.8 meters in length, making it easy to transport. The overall weight of each container is 1100 kilograms and are ideal for home offices, site offices and storage solutions.

Our collapsible Expanda Boxes are built to last, featuring a sturdy construction that includes a galvanised steel frame and walls made of Rock Wool Steel Sandwich. The roof is further insulated with 100mm of glass wool, ensuring maximum protection from the elements. The Expanda Boxes are also equipped with two aluminium sliding windows that come with security bars for added security. The door is anti-theft, and the flooring is Fireproof Glass Magnesium Board, making it water resistant, strong and durable. These features combined ensure that our collapsible Expanda Boxes provides a safe and comfortable living environment.

COMPLIANT & RELIABLE

The electrical features of our collapsible Expanda Boxes are designed and certified to meet the highest Australian Standards. A safety switch and external 15amp flush fitted power lead are fitted for safe and easy electrical connection. They also come equipped with 8 internal double pole GPO power points, and LED lighting, providing a well-lit and functional living or working space. These electrical features ensure that our Expanda Boxes meet the demands of modern living and working environments, providing a safe and reliable power source.

FLAT-PACKED FOR RELOCATION 

Our structural and electrical design allows our Expanda Boxes to be easily flat packed by a suitable contractor within minutes to allow for relocation. They can be easily transported to the location of need with transport capability of up to 8-12 Expanda Boxes per crane truck, making delivery response incredibly fast and very cost effective. This makes them an ideal solution for providing temporary housing in disaster-stricken areas, where traditional housing options may not be readily available or feasible.
